Klaus Maria Brandauer (Klaus Georg Steng) born June 22, 1943 in Bad Aussee, Steiermark is an Austrian actor and director. He has starred in Hollywood productions like: Out of Africa and Between Strangers. But also in independent films such as The Strange Case of Wilhelm Reich, he showed his exceptional talent. But his greater passion is the theater. He played in Vienna at the Burgtheater, at the Salzburg Festival and the Berliner Ensemble.
